A sin? Probably not a sin.

But an incredibly stupid thing to do.

This is not just in Green Bay.

You cannot vote for someone who supports abortion if you have a choice and still call yourself a Catholic. Regrettably, many people do that and call themselves Catholic anyway.

I don't automatically vote Democrat or GOP. I look at the candidate and their positions.

In my mind, it is a political sin to just vote the party line.

"Probably not a sin. But an incredibly stupid thing to do."
Doing stupid things is sinful. "Love God with your whole heart, mind, and soul." The mind includes the intellect.

"It should be an axiom for Christ followers ..."
Christ followers don't need axioms. They need virtues.

Plenty of state House races here in CT where the DEM is more pro-family than the NARAL Republican candidate.

and races for the US House:
Roraback CT-5 R NARAL
Obsitnick CT-4 R NARAL
Tisei MA-5 R NARAL
Bass NH-2 R NARAL

and that guy in upstate NY .... R NARAL

those are 5 US House races where it is better if the DEM wins and then we come back with a center-right GOP candidate in '14.

A sin? Well, think about it. 1. Homosexuality is condemned in the Scriptures in several places, yet it is a veritable honor to the democRATS.
2. The heathen, and even reprobate Hebrews were excoriated by God, through the prophets, for sacrificing their children to various pagan gods, and we all know that abortion is a high holy sacrament to the ‘RATS.

I would hazard a guess that if an individual is casting their vote and lending support to the ‘RAT cause, it could be construed as “wishing them God speed”. I also believe that such a person is not “abiding in the doctrine of Christ,” who is 100% pro-life! They’re on very thin ice, to my mind.

2nd John 1:9 thru 11 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Sin is doing something outside of the Biblical LAW. Yes, abortion is the taking of a life and is SIN. The Bible describes Marriage and deciding marriage is something else is SIN. I also believe that drinking alcohol, which is a corruption of grape juice, is SIN....

For me, it would be sinful to intentionally enable a movement or power structure that is working for a culture of anti-God and death.

But each person has their own conscience to deal with. I have thought, done and said sinful things that I did not realize until later.
