as a Christian, i believe it is a sin to vote against one’s own conscience.

i’m with madison:

I have to agree. One must ultimately vote according to his or her own conscience. One would certainly hope a Christian conscience would rebel against the notion of supporting the vast majority of those in the Democrat party based on what they stand for and who they stand with.

That said, I would fear any church that would bring sanctions against a member for their vote.
