Wow. I didn't know a school could alter an image.
I would have thought that perhaps a person did that, maybe someone in the Communications Department, you know, at the explicit direction of an administrator... an administrator that wishes to remain anonymous.

The number one reason this stuff keeps happening is because individual perpetrators are seldom named. Publicize the name of the person who gave the order to airbrush out the crosses, and I doubt it will happen again.
