From the article: Tricia Erickson, who is now a professing Christian after being involved in the LDS establishment for 21 years, stated in an article this week entitled The Obamney Twins that while she cannot support Barack Obama, she is unable to vote for Mitt Romney either. “To me, as a conservative, a Republican and a Christian, I cannot justify a vote for either one of the Obamney baby-killing, annihilators of the family, government healthcare mandated to take over our economy socialist evil twins – and be right with our Creator,” she wrote. Erickson pointed out that neither seek to ban abortion, and both have shown support for homosexuality. “Republicans say that they have to vote for Romney because we are losing our country to socialism and after another four years of Obama, there will be nothing left of America. I can’t say that I disagree,” she said...Because of these concerns, in Erickson’s article this week, she noted that many will vote third party this year or skip the presidential race on the ballot. “Some have said that they will simply not vote for either establishment candidate, [but] instead, in protest, will write-in another name or candidate if they will vote at all,” she wrote. “I, and approximately 90 million Americans, agree with Charles Spurgeon who says, ‘Of two evils, choose neither.’”

Yup. As Spurgeon said, "Of two evils, choose neither."

So in other words, it’s better to have another 4 years of Obama?

At this juncture, that’s the alternative. The only alternative.

Erickson is the daughter of a Mormon bishop.

From the article: “While he attempts to portray Mormonism as just another Christian religion, Mitt Romney counts on his skills to shift our attention away from what he truly believes,” she wrote in her book Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America. “It’s like our eyes are glazed over when it comes to the religion of Mitt Romney,” Erickson told talk show host Thomas Hartmann in further discussing the matter. “If you just knew what Mitt Romney believed, you would run far away from this candidate.” Erickson states that she grew up in a devout Mormon household, and was even married in the LDS temple according to mandated rituals. However, she laments many things that she observed and was subjected to. “It was horrific,” she told WND. “There I was standing naked [at my wedding]. They brought this bowl of water and started washing my body down, and whispering prayers over my body. They stopped over the right and left breast, the navel and knees and prayed specific prayers.” Erickson stated that because Mitt Romney is a dedicated Mormon, he espouses beliefs that are very concerning, including that Jesus was not born of a virgin, that Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers, and that Romney will one day become one of many deities. “Mitt Romney truly, unequivocally believes that when he dies, he is going to become a god in Heaven,” she said. “He is going be given his own kingdom/planet. He will be able to call his wife Ann by the secret name that is only given to him in the Mormon secret ceremonies … When he calls her on to his planet, they will have relations to populate the planet with spirit children, as they believe our God has a wife on His planet, and He did the same, and they believe that we are our God’s spirit children from our god mother and god father.”

Either Obama or Romney will be the next President. There is no third choice.

A feeble attempt by a fruitcake to damage the Christian vote.

Billy Graham endorsed Mitt for crying out loud!

I am a conservative Christian. If I choose to vote for neither Obama nor Romney, that will not change this unshakable fact: One of the two of them will be the President the next 4 years.

Which of the two of them are more aligned with my world view? Romney, without question.

I will vote for him with enthusiasm and a clear conscience.

Three weeks out and THIS brilliance is published?

If Romney has been foisted upon us (and personally, I think he HAS been), then we've been foisted.

And if the lesser of two evils ... Commands and dictates against smoking and drinking is not as bad as submit or die.

It’s a good thing our Founding Fathers established a system of checks-and-balances and a division of power to help ensure that one man’s religion (or anti-religion) does not hold much of a sway over the country, if the people so choose.

The disgusting underside of this campaign is that the Dems are covertly putting people like this Tricia Erickson out there to spread anti-Mormon bigotry in the disguise of a “former Mormon” raising “concerns” to the Christian community as a way to keep Christians from not voting. Everything she says could be true — Romney could believe that he will own a planet. Ann could have been naked on her wedding day. And I could care less. I really don’t care. Romney is going to cut government and cut spending and that is all that matters in this election.

So what if Romney believes in elves and fairies?

The point is that he believes in the good elves and fairies. He can only become an elf king in the afterlife IF he does good here on our blue marble......Then he gets his own blue marble.

That’s bad how?

His judgement on business and most social issues appear to be sound....Especially in comparison to our current Allah in Chief....

Other people can pick verses from your religion, which can also hit hilarious level. Or can find people who despise your religion.

Unfortunately, “neither” is not in the option set. In January 2013, either Obama or Romney WILL be in the White House. The only choice is which will be less destructive to Liberty.

You could write me in on the ballot. But then, to the extent possible, you would have some REAL change. First, Congress would be forcibly sent home. Martial law would be established. And then:

1. Documentation would be gathered on practicing, professed Muslims. They would then have 60 days to sell all assets and leave the country. Those too poor to pay for flights would have their exit tickets subsidized. Any other religious belief that decided it wanted to cause similar problems as that of Islam would face similar action.

2. All documented illegal aliens would have 30 days to leave on their own without forcible deportation. After that time period expired, they would be actively searched out and deported using all law enforcement agencies.

3. All welfare would be severely curtailed. Anyone rioting as a result would be subject to imprisonment at hard labor (to teach them how to work again) or shot if they became violent. Welfare would ONLY be for the elderly without means of support, disabled, retarded or very sick people, etc. (truly unable to provide for self).

4. Education would turned on its head. Strict standards and discipline would be reinstated. No tolerance for dissent on that issue at all. Educational programs would be put in place to meet the needs of every child. If a child simply could not do "bookwork" that well, then vocational programs to teach hands-on skills would be available. This is a terrible, deficient aspect of public education now.

5. Crime would be dealt with decisively. Laws would be changed to make it far easier to punish criminals per crimes committed without lawyer interference. No bias based on wealth or connections. If you committed the crime, you WOULD do the time or face execution for heinous crimes. No if, ands or buts. People would be inclined to stay away from situations that might get them in trouble (avoid the very appearance of evil, the scripture says).

6. All business activity would be suspended on Sundays. People would probably, by the time my policies were put in place, be turning back to God or wanting to worship some entity praying for relief from the stress. They would survive. A little devotion to God in times of trouble would certainly be a positive thing.

7. Abortion would be outlawed immediately. How can a nation kill its own? No excuse would suffice to override that decision. Abortion is primarily a means to cover up immorality for most who practice it, nothing else. Homosexuality would also not be tolerated. Other countries exist where that practice is tolerated.

So, you don't like those ideas? That's fine. Then don't complain about the leadership you're going to get. The only alternative is going to be dictatorial rule of some kind. People get the kind of government they deserve. If they turn away from God and the principles in His word, then things go from bad to worse. That is a historical fact. What a lot of you don't realize is that a moral leader would not be tolerated by an immoral people. How can you hope for a moral, righteous leader when the people are immoral, Godless, demanding permission for their anti-Biblical behavior (sexual immorality, lying, drinking, etc.)? A good man can NOT lead bad people. Good people will not tolerate a bad leader. Thus, the divide in the nation.

Yup. As Spurgeon said, "Of two evils, choose neither."

So, when given a choice between being hit with a tack hammer or a sledge hammer, you wisely let someone else choose for you. Got it.
