The Catholic Church has done more to corrupt The Holy Bible than any another other Church in History. Joel Osteen is light on scripture, but he does encourage people to seek out a Bible based Church. I watched the video link you posted, but I just don’t get why they focus on Joel.

“Dear God I know I’m a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.

Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt, come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in your name Jesus.

Amen! If you prayed that prayer then we believe you are saved.”

-Joel Osteen

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Joel Osteen is a false teacher.
That does not mean the Catholic Church is right, either.

God is not interested in religion as we define it, he is interested in the matters of our heart. And being centered on prosperity is (if you read the bible), warned against time and again. It seems’ Joel does not preach on those areas
