A 65-year-old Episcopal priest has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a boy when he served at a Somerville church.

The Rev. Paul LaCharite of Boston was arraigned Monday in Somerville District Court on a charge of assault with intent to rape a child and three counts of indecent assault and battery on a child. His bail was set at $10,000. A judge ordered him to wear a GPS monitor, stay away from his now-adult accuser and have no unsupervised contact with children.

Prosecutors say the boy and his family attended St. James Episcopal Church, where LaCharite allegedly began in appropriately touching him in the 1990s and continued over 10 years until LaCharite left the parish.

LaCharite was arrested after the alleged victim went to authorities last week.

I wonder if he was buddies with our wonderful ex-Bishop here in NH, Eugene Robinson. Absolutely disgusting people. My Anglican ancestors must be spinning in their graves.

Nah, start lighting a few of 'em up at the stake, ala BBQ, and see how long this continues. (one can dream, yes?)

I would bet money that the pedophiles have gathered around the Episcopal church as they have embraced sexual corruption. We will see an onslaught of victim males coming forward in the future from that denomination.

Not to mention the public schools.

Funny how that gets left out. Many people want to deny that there’s any connection. I have always maintained that the SOBs were queer first and pedophiles just incidentally.

Homosexuals have been known throughout history as being attracted to boys. It’s part of the whole “gay life”. And many if not the majority of boys molested by priests were pubescent or adolescent boys. That is standard fag behavior.

They have a great system of color coding ratings of candidates rather than an endorse/notEndorse system.

I find in Ct that the worse the situation gets, the more certain conservatives remove themselves from following politics & involvement. The Massachusetts crowd perhaps has a little more fight in them.
