We were looking for a conquering Messiah to rid Israel of the Roman oppression. There were Jews that accepted Yashua. Peter, Paul and the rest of the disciples. Paul came along later but there were groups of Jews who believed. Read Acts. Remember it was Jewish women who spread the word that Yashua had risen. Then later, Dorcas, who held the first services in her home - sang some psalms then read letters that Paul wrote. There were many Jews who accepted Yashua. But as a whole, the people didn't, just small groups.
I classify myself as a Messianic Jew.
I classify myself as a Messianic Jew. Praise G-d! May I ask, how would you classify those of us that are Gentiles, recognize that Yashua observed Torah, and believe, as his followers, that we should do the same to the extent we are able?
