I agree, but I would not call it “right wing”. The Church needs an organization able to speak overtly on political issues. The Christian Democratic parties in Europe have become secularized. In the US, until recently, neither party dared to openly attack Christianity. Today, in contrast, many Catholics are afraid to criticize the government.
I would; that's what it is. We have nothing to be afraid of.
