G-d beat the Romans to it by almost 40 years, just left them to destroy the physical remains. Sad it came to that when His people had a better choice.

But mortals always make a mess of it, don’t we? I assert that there is little difference today between the holier-than-thou Pharisees of Jerusalem and the tasseled and robed heirarchy of the Vatican. See Matthew 23.

You can call it whatever you want, but you believe G-d's authoritative revelation at Sinai was modified later beyond recognition, with the old ceremonies and holidays giving way to new ones based on paganism.

I assert that you have no grounds whatsoever on which to accept the "new testament" or the claims of chrstianity other than merely choosing to do so. I hope you don't criticize mormons for believing in their holy books, since they're just as valid as yours and they accept them for the exact same reasons.
