The Catholic Church's leading exorcist priest asserts that a Vatican employee's daughter thought to be buried in a mob boss's tomb was kidnapped for Vatican sex parties, reports Nick Pisa of the Daily Mail.
Father Gabriel Amorth, who was ordained in 1954 and has carried out more than 70,000 exorcisms, made the claim to Italian newspaper La Stampa as police examine the contents of mobster Enrico De Pedis's tomb for clues about the 1983 disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi.
Father Amorth, 85, noted that an archivist at the Vatican previously admitted to recruiting girls for parties and told La Stampa newspaper the he believes that Orlandi "ended up in this circle" and that the "case of sexual exploitation" led to her murder followed by "the hiding of her body," according to the Daily Mail.

Amorth better be right about this. He of all people should know that this sort of allegation should not be aired without absolute certitude.
I would have to ask if anyone believes it possible that a “group” of people who would constitute a sex party would, to a man, keep a thing like this secret. Doesn’t seem plausible to me.

Well after what the Catholic Church did to protect homosexual priests preying on young boys, I think they earned a bit of bashing. And I’m not sure what the commies have to do with it.

The girl disappeared in 1983, the mob boss was murdered in 1990.
Why would the Vatican wait until 7 years later to dispose of the girl’s body.
Keeping a sex slave for 7 years has inherent risk so I would bet that the Vatican would not risk keep the girl long term.
The other thing that I find puzzling is that after only 22 years that only bones would remain in the tomb.
The Vatican has kept much uglier secrets than this.

These would be people used to keeping very personal confessions confidential. And they are not stupid men.
While I hope this is not true, I think it is quite plausible to keep that secret for years.
Every human action and endeavor can be viewed in a religious context. In this respect there should only be a Religion Forum, or more succinctly just the Forum.
At 85, it could be dementia. My mother suffered alzheimers and had some ‘creative’ stories.
Assume that the man was ordained a priest at 24 (in about 1951) and that he bacame the diocesan exorcist in his diocese the day he was ordained. That alone is verrrry unlikely since the Church takes exorcism verrry seriously and does not allow just any priest to perform them. 70,000 exorcisms in 61 years. That would be about 1150 exorcisms per year. Each year has 365 or 366 days. The priest would have had to perform about 3 exorcisms each and every day for 61 years. Typically an exorcist is serving only one diocese. Frankly I doubt that there have been 70,000 exorcisms in the entire world by any and all Catholic priests since 1900, never mind by just one priest since about 1951. Are we sure that this story does not come from the National Enquirer???
I don’t know what the count is about, or if it was a misprint, or how many he oversaw, or how many took place during his management, or what, but he was appointed by Pope John Paul II as the Vatican’s chief exorcist.
The Medici popes of the renaissance were well known (and documented) to have participated in similar orgies—involving girls...and boys. Of course none of this latest scandal is alleged to have gotten anywhere near the modern-day papacy.

JOHN CALVIN WAS A MURDERER
Not only was the founder of Calvinism, John Calvin, a great deceiver, but he was also a murderer!

A man named Sebastian Castellio wrote against what Calvin did to Servetus and he made this tremendous statement:

Castellio paid a great price for standing up to Calvin the tyrant. He was hounded and persecuted by John Calvin until his death.
Murderers like John Calvin and Martin Luther are not Christians:

he was not an anti-semite in the racial sense -- he wanted to convert the Jews and initially thought he would be able to convince them (egotism was one of his flaws), but then got embittered when he failed. If a person converted, he didn't hate that guy for being born a Jew.

Luther had a towering intellect, but also towering flaws -- he was very Germanic in the sense of capable of deep piety and also pig-headedness

John, you’ll be much relieved to know that the “once saved, always saved” notion is contrary to Lutheran doctrine. (which on this point can be found at paragraph 7, Article XII of the Augsburg Confession)
Did you read the comment I was responding to? What is far fetched is that this priest claims he averaged over three exorcisms a day since his ordination. Sorry, I just don’t buy it...
