The seven practices of Catholic charity toward our neighbor’s soul:

» Admonish sinners

» Instruct the ignorant

» Counsel the doubtful

» Comfort the sorrowful

» Bear wrongs patiently

» Forgive injuries

» Pray for the living and the dead

These are based on the teaching of Christ and on Church practice since apostolic times.

The spiritual works of mercy are oriented toward the soul. The corporal works of mercy are oriented toward the body.

I am watching Father Mitch Pacaw today doing mass he talks about a parish church while he was visiting. The church Tell him not to read the name "Father" ( meaning Eternal Father) in the text while reading one of the gospels. Amazing. Well he told them I did not write the gospels but only read what is in it. They did not allow him to read. A "progressive church? "

He then goes on that the Church closed after 5 months.

Just amazing playing with the word.

Douay-Rheims Bible Revelation 22:
