WASHINGTON, May 16, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Cardinal Newman Society is sending to Georgetown University President John DiGioia the names of more than 26,000 people who joined an open letter urging Georgetown to cancel an invitation to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to speak at a diploma ceremony this Friday.

The petitions are also being shared with Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C., and Pope Benedict XVI’s ambassador to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.

“These signers are students, alumni, Catholic families, pastors and others who can no longer tolerate Georgetown University’s betrayal of our Church and our Catholic beliefs,” CNS President Patrick J. Reilly wrote in a cover letter to DiGioia on Wednesday. “You have two more days to stop this scandal and insult. We pray that you appreciate the deep concern of these signers and hear through them the voice of reason.”

Ping.

To sign the petition (and please pass along to other Catholics/prolifers) go to website:

GeorgetownScandal.com

This reminds me of the Notre Dame Scandal with Obama from a few years back...

Let me ask a question here.

I went to sign the petition, I filled out all of the required blanks then I trid to read the code that allows your signature. 3 times I got screwed up letters that I could not decipher.

Why in the nmae of all that is holy can’t they just put the letters in plain english so people can read them.

I have had this propblem on other site also. They skew the letter so only a crazed but can read them then expect us to copy them to ensure our honesty.

Georgetown would have invited Hitler to speak if given the opportunity.

Interestingly, her majesty has been quiet of late, since just after obamacide passed. Low profile for this baby killer and eugenics maniac.

I had problems as well. But using Mozilla, I know the "hot key" to "blow up the screen" to look at it much closer.

They have an "audio radio button", but you should have to use that.

Maybe the Cardinal Newman Society should have spent a few more dollars on the website...

And in Windows in the lower right hand corner is a number — 100%.

Click on it and you can make the screen larger.
