Luther bragged about spreading lies, threw out a portion of the Old Testament he couldn't figure out how to reinterpret in a way that would suit his agenda, redefined terms that had had the same definition for centuries, abandoned Latin as the language of debate not so more people would be able to read the Bible (which was already available in several German translations) but to muddied the definition of words, and preached the doctrine of Self.
