The Bishops have already shot themselves in the foot. Starting in 1919, they have been demanding socialized medicine. Never mind that it has been a disaster everywhere it's been tried. They wanted it as part of "social justice." Well, they got it, and their own ox got gored. So now they're upset about part of it, but would be quite happy to see us stuck with the rest of it.

The “social justice” label has been highjacked from the Church, by the Marxists, that’s for sure. Now the term sets everyone’s hair on fire, including mine.

All I know is that the Church has never been sympathetic at least in its warnings and teachings against socialism, but so many examples of bad pockets of socialist behavior and voting patterns of Catholics have been rampant in the United States.

I missed how it all happened but thankful that being passive has ended.
