Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God,
which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will
not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside
out of the way which I command you this day, to go
after other gods, which ye have not known.
(Deuteronomy 11:26-28)
Father, how we thank You that Your servants were also sinners saved by grace. The apostle Paul said, "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to His service." Even though he was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, he was shown mercy. Like him, Lord. Your grace has been poured out on us abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus . Never let us show contempt for the riches of Your kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that Your kindness leads us toward repentance. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

Ive always been puzzled by the nursery rhyme Little Jack Horner: Little Jack Horner sat in the corner, eating a Christmas pie; he put in his thumb, and pulled out a plum, and said, What a good boy am I!
It seems rather odd that Jack is sitting in the corner with his plum- covered thumb held high, and saying, What a good boy am I! Its usually bad boys who are sent to the corner for punishment. It seems hes trying to draw unwarranted attention to himself and is wanting credit for the pie.
We naturally want to draw attention to ourselves, to show off our accomplishments and abilities. Sometimes we think that life is all about us. But living like that is self-delusion at its worst. In reality, our sinfulness has put us in the corner, from Gods point of view. Thankfully, Pauls testimony gives us the right perspective. In spite of his impressive credentials, he gladly surrendered to the supremacy of Jesus: But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ (Phil. 3:7). Paul admitted that in order to gain Christ (v.8), he had to lay all of his trophies down.
So, give Jesus Christ the braggin rights of your life. Or, as Paul put it, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord (1 Cor. 1:31)not in yourself!

We thank You for the many blessings You have poured out upon this nation since it's founding. May we your people seek You and Your will in our lives and in this nation. May we be faithful in prayer and work to fulfill the great commission, as You commanded. Go before us and lead us giving us Your words to speak and Your heart of love. May we see people though Your eyes and grieve for the lost. Open the ears, eyes and hearts of every person in this nation; that they will know their great need for a Savior.
Thank You for all who are serving this nation. Give them wisdom, discernment and strength to face every situation. Protect, defend, and encourage each one. Bless them and their families for their many sacrifices. Bring healing and peace to all those who served this nation. May they know the love and respect we have for each of them.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.

prayers up for our country
If there was ever a time that we need the move of God in America, and for that matter the world, it is now. I know that the Lord has already moved, in that Jesus completed his work here on earth in the body of his life, when he said It is Finished! Yet as believers, there are waves of power in the dispensations of God, and we must keep ourselves ready to receive from the Father in those outpourings. The Walsh Revival, Tennessee Revival, and Azusa Street Revival were moves of the great power of God. So too, in this last moment of time we are living in, we should expect that the Holy Spirit would again be poured out in a special measure to offset the darkness that is coming on the earth.
If we read Isaiah 59:1 we hear Isaiah say, Behold, the LORDS hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: We know that God is able to deliver his people and we see that it is not the fact that he cant hear our cry for deliverance. However, Isaiah goes on to say to the people, But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. America started out in its infant stage as a nation that was following the godly precepts of the Bible. As time has eroded this solid foundation, our nation has become steadily more and more sinful. When Jesus saw that there was no one to stand in the gap to save his human race, he came with a vengeance and with zeal. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. (v16-17) If we are to be like Jesus, the next few verses goes on to tell us that we must separate ourselves like an island, fear God, and clothe ourselves just as he did, with zeal and vengeance. (v18-19), then the Lord will raise up a standard against all the evil that is coming against his people.
Most of you who are reading this have already received the two CDs that our ministry put our concerning what we can expect to see happening in the world in 2012. If you have not, go to our website and request A Word For 2012. In those messages I share the hard things that are determined in the earth, but which are conditional on what the believers do. The Lord is calling his sons and daughters to cry out in this last day, and open their hearts to the Holy Spirit, who is about to do a mighty work. In Isaiah 60 the Lord continues on to tell us, Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Arise shine means to Get Up with Purpose. As we get up every day with the purpose of being filled with zeal, and having a readiness to do vengeance to the devil, then the glory of the Lord will be seen upon us because he already has risen upon us. What we totally see here is a picture of Jesus and his power, the true pure church in her power and the end time revival that God expects us to have.
Darkness will cover and is covering the earth now, and gross darkness the people. When you read it in the Hebrew, it says that massive depression and terror and fear will be upon the people. BUT, the Spirit of the Lord will rise upon us and his glory shall be seen upon us, and the sinners of this world and even the world leaders will come to the bright glory of God in us, when we ARISE Get up with Purpose.
I want to encourage you to be so in the face of the Father, that his glory will be seen on you. Clean your life up, walk before the Lord holy, and get so intense with the Father that you cannot be denied his presence.
Our lives, in this time we are in, depend on the power of an intense intimacy with our heavenly Father.
My prayers are toward God for you, as you follow Christ.
Christs Servant, Jimmy Alexander
