I love Titanic history. This is quite interesting reading. I am always moved to tears in the old Titanic movie by the priest praying with those frightened souls as the ship went under the water. Thanks for this interesting post!

I had thought the priest praying with the people as the ship was going down was a “urban legend”, but I hadn’t realized that witnesses saw a priest doing just that.

I am glad that Cameron’s film shows a priest praying in the background in the new film.
