Take a look back at the results of the Michigan Republican Primary, and you might be surprised at who is embracing Catholic teaching.
I’m not a Catholic and I voted for him.
BTW some other issues with Michigan that people need to be made aware of here.

Has anyone seen and estimate of how many dimoKKKRAT crossover votes Rick got? I know the Rats had a campaign to vote for Rick in a reverse operation chaos.
Santorum does not have a problem with Protestant Christians and especially Evangelicals, his problem is with "Catholics.
When Santorum was kicked out of his Pennsylvania Senate seat, he still won 71% of White Evangelical Christians, but only 42% of White Catholics.
See post number 3. The only reason team Romney cried about it is because Santorum intruded on their turf. Romney had people going door to door asking democrats to vote for him. In the end, Romney won Detroit and Santorum won the rest of the state.
They can cry all they want but the simple fact is that all candidates will seek any vote they can get. Reagan specifically targeted Michigan democrats who became known as Reagan Democrats.
I was interested in something that Voris pointed out. Romneys margin came from the absentee vote. Santorum won a large majority who voted on election day. I wonder if Romney is making sure that his people get in contact with people who habitually vote absentee so as to lock that vote in? Didnt he win the absentee vote in Florida, too?

That in part because people confused Jr. with his father;part because Santorum didnt spent enough time cultivating the people in Pennsylvania.
What???
What are you talking about, Jr. what?
Senator Santorum was a long time politician, and had been their Senator for a dozen years, they knew they were kicking him out of office.
