Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
8. I will hiss for them, and gather them;
for I have redeemed them:
and they shall increase as they have increased.
9. And I will sow them among the people:
and they shall remember me in far countries;
and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
10. I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt,
and gather them out of Assyria;
and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon;
and place shall not be found for them.
11. And he shall pass through the sea with affliction,
and shall smite the waves in the sea,
and all the deeps of the river shall dry up:
and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down,
and the scepter of Egypt shall depart away.
12. And I will strengthen them in the LORD;
and they shall walk up and down in his name,
saith the LORD.
It is a Good Thing To Give Thanks Unto the LORD!
How Wonderful You Are,
Abba Father,
and How Glorious!
How Joyfully we long to draw water from the Endless Well of Your Salvation!
How We Delight To Dance in The Latter Rain,
Like the Israelis do,
after a long, hot, summer of thirsting for Your Redemption!
How we love to shout with Joy,
Splashing through great Fountains of Blessings,
The streets of Your Holy City overwhelmed by the sudden Abundance,
All the while, linking arms and singing,
"Mayim, Mayim, Mayim!"
(Water, Water, Water!)
2. For the idols have spoken vanity,
and the diviners have seen a lie,
and have told false dreams;
they comfort in vain:
therefore they went their way as a flock,
they were troubled,
because there was no shepherd.
3. Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds,
and I punished the goats:
for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah,
and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
LORD, How You have Blessed Israel
since the Founding of the Modern State in 1948!
Where before, there were only deserts,
there are now acres of vegetables and flowers.
Where before, there were heaps of ruins,
there are now beautiful neighborhoods that offer a place
to live to people from all aver the world.
Where once, Holy Places revered by many were left to rot,
Now they are restored and have become places of Worship once more.
Why oh why, LORD,
are the evil shepherds allowed to flourish in our own land?
We have seen,
throughout history,
that those nations who curse Your People end up crumbling to dust very shortly thereafter.
And thus, Dear Father, I fear for my OWN Beloved Country,
because of the evil shepherds that have taken over!
We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netanyahu,
and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.
