I don't know anything about your situation, FRiend, but --- being a little bit familiar with my pastor's insane schedule in the days surrounding Christmas ---I'm thinking maybe you should get back to him after the liturgical-rush-season is past.

This time of year is (let me choose the right word) not the most auspicious --- for a good sit-down meeting with your good priest. On top of everything else, my own Fr. Pete has been ministering to three (3!) families that have had loved ones hospitalized in car smash-ups. Lord have mercy.

LIke I said, I'm not aware of your particular circumstances, but I will pray that it all goes well.

Peace!

Merry Christmas!

A good start would be taking an even harder public stance on stamping out the cover ups of the sex abuse that has cause so many to leave the Church.

Unfortunately, the bishops have hung that around their necks.

Another would be to clean house and suppress orders like the Jesuits that have become completely compromised in their teachings by homosexuality and modernism.
