When I was a boy in Catholic school I never understood what the “pray for the conversion of Russia” thing was all about. Russia has been a mostly Christian country for a long time. What were they suppossed to convert to anyway?
Russian Orthodoxy is schismatic and therefore insufficient. Soon after Fatima, Russia became officially atheist. Even today, Russia has not yet converted back to the One True Faith.
