Why would Notre Dame U present an honorary degree to a radical pro-abortionist?
There seem to be Catholic instutions out there who are afraid to be seen promoting Caholic principles.
Sometimes Catholic Universities think they won’t be respected by other universities as academically independent, fully scientific and rigorous and objective if they don’t do something ‘edgy’ and provocative, like inviting a controversial speaker, or showing the ‘Vagina Monologues’ or something.
It’s like the playground. Sometimes these colleges just want to be cool and fit in.
Personally, I haven’t sent to check to my relatively Catholic Alma Mater in over ten years. Sad.
