This morning there was a herd of at least fifteen mule deer eating leftovers in my frozen garden out by the coffee shack. Such beauty in nature is greatly appreciated.
Then I go into the coffee shack and fire up my laptop and get the very ugly in nature with the message that we in some way have caused and/or appreciated the death of kids on bikes, who should have known better than to be out on a dark road.
Almost worse than the Cain accusers. And what does that have to do with religion?
Very sad these young lives were taken. I know their families are grieving.
I guess what I can’t figure out is why they were violating the very strict rules they swore to uphold and were out so late, and why were there three and not two.
I looked for a link to the story/claim and found only a short paragraph on an lds site, saying they died when a car hit them. Very limited information and the condition of the person who survived the accident was not given.

If these 'officials' really DID 'open their doors' then perhaps this POOR man in SLC would STILL be with us today!!

Last night, my herd of quadrupeds had an avian intruder plopped in the middle of their water bucket!
One of the big ducks had managed to jump into the 5 gallon bucket and then could not get out!
I am going to make a treadle arrangement so that the weight of a goat will lift a lid placed over the bucket.
