Actually, it’s caused because they abandoned tradition which said “God says marriage is between a man and a woman”
Ordaining homosexuals isn't a "tradition" anywhere except Sodom and Gomorrah. The word "tradition" comes from the Latin traditio, "to hand over". This isn't the faith that was "handed over" to them. If the PCUSA had any regard for tradition, they wouldn't have been able to imagine anything like this, because their ancestors in the faith sure didn't.
