Oh man, I am soooo grateful that I don’t live that close to DC. Each move has been away from that place. We’re in Iowa now and good riddance to them. We had a good place in Indiana before we came here, but here is very good too.
“I am soooo grateful that I dont live that close to DC.”
I was walking around the metro neighborhood the other evening and it is beautiful and manicured and resembles the type of Leave It to Beaver neighborhood I grew up in on Long Island NY in the 40’s and 50’s.
Those I don’t know greet me from their shaded green yards and are very pleasant.
Then I have to remember that these lovely people living in their bubble are the same technocrats who are screwing up the entire nation.
They all, every single one of them in the metro area are living in a bubble of delusion.
I headed back to The Swamp far away from them with great relief.
*It really and truly cross my heart is a swamp and I’m very happy to be back in it. I do the Euell Gibbons thing from time to time.
