I am no Rick Perry fan, but Lisa Falkenberg is a nasty, snarky, self-adoring little twit who doubtless owes her continuing employment at the Chronicle to her youth (small retirement contributions), low pay, and unceasing cultivation of the editor's ...... well, ego. (I was going to say "manhood" but someone might have got the wrong idea.)

Ever since the Chron cut staff four years ago -- and the size of their paper, and their collective IQ -- the remaining writers have mostly been those known by the rest of the staff for advanced sycophancy, the kind they teach in those Leisure Learning Limited "Office Politics" classes.

Whenever they see a Lisa Falkenberg article, knowledgable readers automatically sing out, "cleanup on Aisle 4!"
