I was hoping to find some counters to the points in the articles.
I have supported Sarah in the past.
The article stated his comments were controversial, which is true, because there are so many secular people who will take issue with what he said. As a Christian, I don’t have a problem with his comments, because wherever a person is called to be they should use the opportunities that are presented to them to serve Christ. He acknowledged that being in a position of power afforded him chances to advance the cause of Christ. Whether or not he is sincere in his beliefs is not for me to judge.
On the other hand, I could see how secular people might be alarmed by his statements because they might perceive him as trying to preach to people. So, they might think it to be a violation of church and state.
