Southern Baptists be warned -- the gay brigade is now targeting you. However, they should be reminded that an attack on the SBC is an attack on all conservative Christians, whether Baptist or Presbyterian or orthodoxy (Catholic/Orthodox/Oriental/Assyrian) etc.

The following excerpt is taken from Chapter 3, “Stupid Parents, Enlightened Kids”
Every fall, millions of parents drop their children off at taxpayer-funded public schools, assuming that their children’s education will provide what they need to be successful in life: strong academics, civility, and responsibility.
Unfortunately, many of these same parents have little or no idea of what is happening to their children once they pass through the classroom door. Instead of learning the three R’s or how to be good citizens like many of us were taught, they are learning how to reject the values that many of their parents have tried hard to instill in them. Sadly, many of these parents refuse to believe that this is happening, even when you produce evidence of how the radical homosexual activists are targeting children in public schools to accept, affirm, and be recruited into homosexual behavior.
In some areas of the country where homosexual activists have had free reign for years, the indoctrination of children starts as early as kindergarten. At a Massachusetts Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) conference, there was a specific workshop on how to “incorporate gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues into the early elementary years.”1 On the GLSEN website, there are elementary school lesson plans featuring the themes “What is Boy/Girl?” along with books with titles such as Queering Elementary Education. 2
GLSEN is one of the most vocal pro-homosexual groups. Its efforts to indoctrinate children are relentless. On April 9, 2003, GLSEN staged its second annual “Day of Silence.” Students were encouraged to remain silent throughout the day and not respond to their teachers or administrators. Organizers of the event told children that they should “brainstorm” a list of people “who stand in your way.” Those people included teachers, counselors, and administrators who have “denied you their support in the past and who’ve expressed bias against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people. It also suggested that the list include other children, school board members, people in the community, and relatives “who have shown intolerance” of homosexuality. The organizing manual notes that “people who oppose you on your issue are known as, you guessed it, your opponents.”
So, GLSEN is telling little children that their relatives are the “enemy” if they oppose homosexual behavior. Our question (and we are afraid of the answer): Does “relatives” include Mom and Dad? Indeed, we will see that this is exactly what GLSEN means. It does mean mom and dad.
In St. Louis, Missouri, Debra Loveless requested her right to exempt her daughter from a GLSEN seminar at her daughter’s public school. Her request was granted, but she also wanted to see what was being presented at the seminar. When she arrived, an armed security guard told her that school officials wanted her to leave the school grounds.3
In Silverlake, Massachusetts, a freshman health text says: “Testing your ability to function sexually and give pleasure to another person may be less threatening in your early teens with people of your own sex . . . You may come to the conclusion that growing up means rejecting the values of your parents” [emphasis added].4This statement blatantly acknowledges the agenda of radical homosexual activists: convince early teenagers to experiment with homosexual behavior and to reject the values of their parents. The students who received this text were told they could not take it home.
In Visalia, California, not exactly an urban center like San Francisco or Los Angeles, the school district agreed to implement anti-harassment programs conducted by GLSEN and aimed at all students and staff, after being sued by the ACLU. The settlement called for mandatory training for all school staff and high school students. The student training was described as being “peer to peer,” meaning students who do not agree with homosexual behavior will be pressured by their fellow classmates to comply. In addition, the district will name “compliance coordinators” to “help parents, students and teachers with incidents of discrimination.”5Big Brother is alive and well in Visalia, California, and he is watching you and your kids.
The indoctrination that takes place in our public schools has definitely had an effect in shaping teens’ attitudes toward homosexual behavior. In 2001, Zogby International released a poll that found that 85 percent of high school seniors thought homosexual men and lesbians should be accepted by society; 68 percent said homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt children; 88 percent supported so-called hate-crimes legislation, and two-thirds thought same-sex “marriage” should be allowed. Even 80 percent of evangelical Christians supported hate-crimes legislation, which in its many proposed forms will be used to silence religious speech about homosexual behavior.6
One of parents’ key religious freedoms is the ability to raise their children to accept Jesus Christ into their lives and to train them to hold biblically based beliefs. In our public schools today, this religious freedom is under daily assault. Sad to say, large numbers of children may have already been lost to the pro-homosexual efforts that have been quietly implemented in our public schools over the past decade. But harm to future generations can still be prevented. Confused children can still be redeemed. However, it is going to take an army of parents, not just one individual here and there, who will rise up in righteous anger over what is happening to our children. The day when we can trust our public school system to affirm America’s traditional values is over. It is time to take back our schools from the radical homosexual activists for the sake of our children.

The bible clearly states that no “homosexual” (Abusers of themselves with mankind) will inherit the kingdom of God. It also clearly states that “homosexuals” can be delivered of that sin and live normal healthy lives.
If the gilberts want to disagree with that they need to take it up with the Author. I’m sure He’ll listen to their reasons.
But then again maybe not. He states pretty clearly in Leviticus 18 and Romans 1 what He thinks of their behavior.
Homosexuals and other self-proclaimed deviants would be better off seeking repentence and begging for forgiveness.

A new coalition announced that it was starting a petition today on the GetEVEN website (www.geteven.org), calling on the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) to apologize for the harm its teachings are causing the adultery and swinging community.
Pointing to current teachings and ministries of the SBC, the coalition is attempting to shed light on harmful teachings and actions that individual congregations, pastors, and SBC leadership have embraced, targeting the adulterous community — particularly unfaithful younger married Baptists. These words and actions include everything from counseling adults to kick adulterous spouses out of their homes to the horrifying practices of its “promise keepers” program. In fact, the Southern Baptist Convention is one of the nation’s leading promoters of the so-called “promise keepers” industry, currently being profiled by CNN as part of a three-part series called “The Fifties Spouse Experiment.”
The Southern Baptist Convention will be meeting next week in Phoenix for their annual convention, and petition signatures will be delivered there.
“We call on the Southern Baptist Convention to stop misusing the Bible to promote religion-based bigotry and start recognizing the enormous pain and suffering caused by its mistreatment of adulterous people, particularly vulnerable horndogs,” said Rep. Anthony Weiner, a spokesperson for Faith in America. “History has not been kind to the Southern Baptist Convention’s record on minorities, and it is making the same awful mistake today by perpetuating abuse against adulterous people.”

This petition drive is being organized by the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists, Believe in FriendsWithBenefits, InFidelity in America, GetEVEN, SwingForce and Floozies Win Out.
“Given the arc of justice and the trajectory of history, there is no doubt the SBC will offer a full-fledged apology to the adulterous community in the future,” reads a letter that petition signers will send to SBC’s leadership. “We ask the Southern Baptist Convention to prayerfully consider whether the motive behind the mistreatment and harm toward adulterous individuals, especially young cheaters, is born of political gain and agendas leading to misinterpretation of ambiguous isolated scriptural passages such as "Thou shalt not commit Adultery", rather the spirit of Christ.”
Is there a real difference spiritually or scripturally between the above whine and the LGBTBP (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, bestiality, pedophile) demands?
