The homosexualites will have a much harder time invading the Southern Baptist church because that denomination doesn’t have a ruling body. They practice a congregational style of governance, and each congregation is in charge of itself. It doesn’t have to accept or give a dime to the denomination and they are free to withdraw from the “convention” whenever they wish.
The SBC Convention, as I understand it, is just an agreement among the SBC churches to pool some resources for mission, relief, and education. The leader of the convention changes each year, and each and every SBC church can send a delegate to the convention to immediately put down any waywardness.
The only way the homosexualites infest the SBC is if they infest the churches themselves....and their only hope of that is by so controlling the culture that the warp the SBC children themselves.
In the case of the SBC, home and Christian school education really would make a difference.
The LGBT community should take their complaint up with God and see how far they get with it. My advice for them is to repent, ask for forgiveness, and be saved.
and I want them to say sorry for having sex in public, for pushing a sick, agenda, for not getting or seeking mental help, for not helping their fellow people and ignoring the fact they have so many diseases, for trying to get children and push them into a sick mentally unstable life.
I could go on about this but will they say sorry ? NO and nor should anyone else who sees and understands the problems, the sickness and the agenda.

If they had their priorities straight, they probably wouldn’t be agreeing with plenty of liberal doctrines. Gun control would be in their best interests to oppose, as well as other serious codes, but then again, it seems that for plenty of them, the answer is more of a “go with the crowd” than anything else.
Take a look at Britain. The most recent thing they asked the Muslim community there to do was to force the resignation of their current imams, because there was a rise in gays getting killed with knives, or simply beaten to death by angry mobs. I wonder how many Imams actually bothered resigning? I also wonder why they aren’t asking for a logical answer of seeking to undo the gun control laws, either. Self-defense makes at least some sense sometimes.

And you can add to it, that we want the homos to apologize and serve time for the rape and molestation of well-over a million boys. Some homosexual priests in the catholic church have admitted to molesting more than 100 boys.
They would also be very well opposed to abortion, because if there was such a strong genetic link, a mother could, assuming she was willing enough, test the fetus positive and abort it, preventing the so-called person from ever being born. Given that homosexuals cannot tell who is truly homosexual, and not bisexual, not to mention homosexual is unpredictable prior to one coming out, it does raise plenty of doubts about some genetic determinant in the matter.

What the homosexuals will do is open their own churches and claim to be Baptists. Jimmy Carter did this with a liberal group.
The attempt to normalize deviancy is a great example of why the congregational system is less susceptible to embracing heresy than a hierarchy. In the latter all it takes is for those at the top to declare the heresy the norm and it is then orthodoxy. In the congregational system every church must embrace the heresy.

well, the problem is if one follows what some say “to cut and run” and I disagree with them — ELCA folks should stay and FIGHT. Ditto here and PCUSA etc
