Yes, it is hard for many (including me or rather especially me!) to forget disagreements, but I should at least have some sense -- if my brother's house next door is burning and I do not help, the flames will spread to my house.
That's not a very Christian thought I agree, just self-preservation, but we need to at the very least have this.
I joined in the glee at the ECUSA electing Gene as a failure, but I realised soon enough that the media used this as an attack point for ALL Christians.
We're human at the end of it all..
I know. I submit that people who make claims like his but can't back them up "have a pathological or a mental disorder".
Or they could just be world class "Clymers".
I'm a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, a reasonably orthodox christian congregation of believers. Our's is a confessional church whose doctrine is written and has not changed.
