Yep, not much of a decision to make, I’ve been reading the KJV since I was old enough to read, 60 plus years.
Only KJV for me as well. I held my nose and bought a NKJV for Spouse this year ‘cause he said “it’s easier to understand”. (He has a PhD in Physics; I think he could figure it out!)
At our SBC church, the SS quarterlies use some wretched version that is so pathetically dumbed-down I’ve quit attending SS classes. I think it’s Holman version. In sermons, Pastor uses NKJV — also because “it’s easier to understand”.
You’d think that when only KJV was available, the Holy Spirit had absolutely no power to convict people because they couldn’t understand every word. Saying that people must “understand” every Old English word and phrase insults God and His power to touch people. And... there are many free options available to actually study the Bible in depth, but I guess it’s “easier” to be spoon-fed.
I think it was J. Vernon McGee who said there’s only one true translation of the Bible; all other versions are simple interpretations.

Same here. The KJV is the most accurate and complete. Moreover, it is the height of the English language and history.
