My 2 cents, it seems like the Christian Church (in general) is headed towards a syncretization of religions-morals, overseen by a multi-cultural UN like Super-State.
I’ll ask our obama ass-kissing and liberal, homo parish here in Hollywood. I’m sure they will be interested...

Read the Koran to me in my Church and my checkbook will slam shut so tight they will wonder what happened.
The way to make your feelings known is through the Pocketbook. A few weeks of nothing in the collection box and they will have a change of tune.
This is the spiritual equivalent of what is going on in Israel, land for peace. Religious leaders are ceding spiritual land in the hopes that the world will like them
They are not churches, they are bands of lost souls trying to make themselves feel good. They are sheep without the Shepherd.
Someone recently said, they are trying to follow Jesus without following the Bible. That doesn’t work.
The June 26 initiative, called Faith Shared: Uniting in Prayer and Understanding, is co-sponsored by the Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First. Leaders of the two Washington-based groups said the event hopes to demonstrate respect for Islam in the wake of Quran burnings in recent months.

Promoting tolerance and understanding is not the same thing as expressing agreement. The Jewish faith doesn’t recognize Jesus Christ as the savior and Son of God either, but no useful purpose is served by Christians demonizing Jews because of it. Nor does encouraging tolerance among the faithful of those two religions dilute their respective beliefs, or indicate abandonment of them.
