Though not “formally excommunicated"

They excommunicate themselves. It's just as binding. What they need now is to be trespassed from Church property.

They should all be excommunicated publicly and permanently.

Catholic politicians should follow Church teachings in office or they should remain private citizens.

Of course I’ll be so bold as to state that one CANNOT be both a Democrat and a Catholic.

It would not hurt Cardinal Justin Rigali and other Pennsylvania Bishops/Archbishops to toss Senator Bob Casey, Jr. from the Catholic Church.

Additionally, Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond of New Orleans, Louisiana should toss Senator Landrieu from the Catholic Church.

Oh, for the good old days!

Bishop Bruskewitz is a vertebrate ordinary, no doubt.

Why shouldn’t they be excommunicated? Do they make out big offering checks or what?

God bless Bishop Bruskewitz. If only other Bishops, all of them, would take a stand based on what the Church supposedly stands for. The way the Church treats pro-death “Catholic” congressman is a disgrace.
