No. On another forum, there was a post regarding a father that was told he "couldn't touch the baby" (HIS baby) during a baby blessing, because he wasn't worthy but he could hold the microphone.
It nudged me to publicize the mormon claims of being the only ones on earth to "hold the Priesthood" and on the explanation of just what the mormon priesthood claims are and that they are claimed to be "revealed" from God to Joseph Smith
I think it also illustrates how legalistic and controlling the religion is.
