The Ukrainian Church, post communist era, is growing in leaps and bounds. Its seminaries are filled to overflowing with a demand for new seminaries. Perhaps the bishops in their wisdom, intentionally chose a young patriarch who can take the helm and address the needs of a rapidly growing church.
