I’ve heard that it has been difficult to convert Muslims.
If a Muslim leaves Islam what is he? Can he still be a Muslim and not believe in Islam? Is there a distinction between being Muslim and being Islamic?

According to the Quran, dead.
Don’t listen to mainstream media propaganda. Many Muslims have left Islam and the rate is accelerating. And yes if they leave Islam and give their life to Christ they are a new creation and should be welcomed as part of the brethren. Islam exists through ignorance, fear, violence, poverty, and cultural programming.

How can he not be right to be glad that Islam is losing followers, though, in his enthusiam, he exaggerates in equating perdition avoidance to triumph? The only question, is he right about the fact that Islam is net losing followers?
When someone converts to Christianity, God triumphs, not mankind.
Christ is not feeble He can reach the Muslims and has been for a long time. Many Muslims have to hide their faith, it is death if they are found out.
