I think this is an important point. I believe it to be closer to "Inherited Sin" of our Orthodox brothers and sisters.

I like the phrase “inherited sin.”

But all the way back to Adam and Eve sometimes seems like a loooooong time ago. That’s a lot of generations of sin inheritance.
