P.S. Every time I see your screen name, I think of our own son who is "John O" as well, but has fallen away from going to Mass in regular fashion (he goes twice a year; guess which days?) ... so it reminds me to pray for him (and you!).

Never give up on your son. I hit 18 and fell away from God too. Was out on my own for about 9 years and then he brought my late wife into my life. She was one of those attend services 3 times a week Christians. So I ended up back serving God. I walk much closer to Jesus than I ever did before (although I still have lots of room for improvement.)

Of course some people are disappointed as I was Catholic before but am a practicing Protestant now. God doesn't care what name is on the church as long as HE is the Lord of it. KWIM?
