Fire him. If he can’t cntrol his emotions when dealing with children then he does not belong in a classroom period.

“The problem is getting students to do it since most are not strongly political.” And they have been trained to obey, not to think.

You make some excellent comments here. I lived in the San Fran area many years ago. It was well known that the homosexual obsession with young boys was clearly a part of the lifestyle. These obsessed deviants are gaining ground on every front and the majority seem powerless to stop them. They are like a spreading infection. Most of the marketing of such deviance rests with hollywood writers who glorify/victimize the behavior and vilify the opposition.

Even on FR people sometimes say "there is no gay agenda" or "what gays do doesn't affect me". [Note - such posters usually say "gay", not "homosexual" etc.]

Anyone who thinks the radical, militant nazi-like homosexual agenda doesn't affect them is - LYING. "Doesn't affect me" really means "Doesn't bother me"!

The homosexual agenda is all about creating a tyranny and eliminating our basic freedoms - of speech, religion, association and even thought and belief.

And the MSM which is heavily larded with sexual perverts, and they have also wormed their way into many government jobs. It has to get turned around.

"for what its worth, public school students don’t have free speech rights"

Wrong. Everyone has the unalienable right to free speech. What you mean is that students' free speech is curtailed through administrative cowardice and tyranny. This is a problem. Teach them early that their rights are not applicable and most believe it is true the rest of their lives.

Actually, you’re wrong. Students do not have the same speech rights as citizens. In Tinker v. Des Moines ISD the Supreme Court stated that a students free speech rights could be limited when the speech constituted a “substantial interference with school discipline or the rights of others” ... including censorship of a school newspaper, and punishment for content of in-school speeches (those were in other cases).

Try telling your kid to stand up and call a teacher a “bitch”, and see how well falling back on “free speech” works. Try wearing a vulgar t-shirt on campus.

>> Teach them early that their rights are not applicable and most believe it is true the rest of their lives.

A lack of discipline and respect for authority is a FAR greater problem for students than failure to recognize rights. Most students seem to think they have rights they don’t ... the right to healthcare, employment, housing, food, education, welfare, abortion, and freedom of speech/expression unencumbered by decency, consideration, or non-governmental authority (i.e. employer, teacher, parent, etc.).

Sure, just roll over and take it. I must have missed the "unless one is a student" clause in the Constitution. The Court held that the constitutional right to privacy extends to a woman's decision to have an abortion. Does that make it right? The Supreme Court is not infallible.

You think kids should have the right to express themselves however they want, whenever they want, when in school? Generally speaking, anarchy is not a good environment for education.

economics teacher, Jay McDowell, wore a t-shirt printed by a homosexual group. When the teacher demanded another student remove his confederate flag belt buckle

I don't think he was being a hypocrite.....

.....He was hoping the kids pants would fall down.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Fundamentally, at their very core, government K-12 schools are a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination! Freedom of conscience, First Amendment human rights, and government schooling can NOT co-exist! It is axiomatic.

Solution: Abolish government K-12 education. Move toward a completely private system of universal education.

“Then the teacher asked Daniel if he agreed with his shirt.”

If Daniel had replied “Oh, I like your shirt.” What would have happened then? Never mind. Please, don’t tell me.

In most of the schools I sub in, students are not allowed to wear shirts with any messages. I think the dress code applies to teachers as well. I never wear anything with a written message. (Excepting for Dr Seuss scrubs on March 2 when Dr Seuss' birthday/"Read across America day" is celebrated? And, why isn't every day in school "Read Across America" day?)

This teacher has his own agenda to ram down the throats of his students (pun intended). No wonder students these days are so tragically ignorant.

I don't know why he was wasting valuable instruction time obsessing over a student's belt buckle...oh, wait...

Thanks, grellis!

Recently his economics teacher, Jay McDowell, wore a t-shirt printed by a homosexual group. When the teacher demanded another student remove his confederate flag belt buckle, Daniel pointed out it was hypocritical for the teacher to wear a shirt with a message, and not let the student wear his buckle. Then the teacher asked Daniel if he agreed with his shirt. Daniel replied he didn’t because of his faith. The teacher then kicked Daniel out of class while screaming he was a racist.
Racist? And now you know why cell phones with built-in movie cameras are prohibited in schools.
The teacher did receive a two-day suspension, but now Daniel has become the target of angry homosexuals, including Ellen DeGeneres.
Degenerate doesn't belong on TV any more than those shrill shills on The View. Thanks grellis.

Teach them early that their rights are not applicable and most believe it is true the rest of their lives.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If children attend semi-prison-like indoctrination centers ( mis-named government “schools”) they **will** learn to be comfortable with being government prisoners.

If children are taught day by day to shut-up by order of government workers, they **will** learn to shut up in the face of government workers.

If children attend socialist-funded, collectivist, prison-like schools, they **will** learn to be comfortable with government socialism and collectivism.

If children attend government indoctrination centers on a daily basis where God is utterly scrubbed from any and all courses, they will learn to think godlessly. They will learn to look to government for their salvation and see government as their redeemer.

If children learn to be comfortable with the government trashing their freedom of conscience and their First Amendment Rights, they **will** be comfortable with this as adults.

Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, Johnson's Great Society, and now Death Panels and Obamacare wasn't an accident. Just few generations of socialist-funded, collectivist, government schooling made it INEVITABLE!

If children learn ( every day) that government has enormous police power to take money from their neighbor to pay for schooling their parents want for tuition-free, ...well..why not use that police power to take money to pay for a thousand other collectivists wants and needs?

( Not proof read. I am off to take care of my cub scouts.)

I think the article was unclear. Earlier reports had it that the student wearing the confederate belt buckle was female - not male. And if it’s anything like the sorts of buckles they wear here in Texas it would be kinda hard not to notice it. No staring required when it’s bright orange and six inches wide.

Off hand - anybody know what the instructor’s shirt said?
