Missy Smith did the same thing. She stated she knew she could win. But she did an amazing service for the pro-life crowd. That’s all Randall Terry is trying to do as well.

Yes, but bottom line, he’s still a community organizer and we know where that got us.
He just wants to get in the face of the pro-aborts. He knows he can't win.

I wonder if he’ll be the one to run 3rd party to guarantee 0bama a 2nd term.

The big checks are probably being written as we speak!

With national figures, our regard for them is restricted to the narrow lense through which information makes it way through to us about them.

I say this because, in my associations with some other prominent figures in the prolife movement, giving me another angle, an "insider angle" so to speak, Mr. Terry comes across as lacking what we would be seeking in a president. Just a cautionary note to learn all we can about any candidate.

You’re against showing abortion ads on the television?

I'm against using "running for the office of president" as a vehicle for getting an ad on television.

What did you think of Missy Smith’s campaign?

He’s running for the office of president (if he goes ahead with it) in the same vein as Missy Smith was running for Congress. The two of them worked together on that campaign, by the way.

No, I don't think that's possible. He'd be way out on the fringe. I'll tell you one thing, though. Somebody with "insight" told me today that if the election is Romney v. Obama, that that will be the mark of the End Times, as neither of them are any good. You know, John McCain wasn't anywhere near as bad as Romney, and of course, he had Sarah as well. But Romney is bad on almost all levels, no better than Obama really.

Yeah, I don’t like Romney either.

He’s brilliant regarding the pro-life cause.

He knows how to work a crowd and that Christians have short memories. He never had an abortion, but he abandoned his wife and children.

"Families are destroyed as a father vents his mid-life crisis by abandoning his wife for a 'younger, prettier model.' " - R. Terry

He plans at some point in time to write about his divorce. He said it was a very painful time for him, and it is difficult to write about, but most people do not know the circumstances behind it, so I hope that book gets written.

On another note, Fr. Corapi, a priest who did almost everything wrong before he converted to a Christian lifestyle is lauded for his work he does currently for Jesus and His mother, and the angels and saints. I might say there are similarities in regard to St. Augustine as well. While I'm not inferring Randall Terry is a saint, he is, however, doing a great deal for the pro-life cause. Remember, it's the devil that causes people to shut down other people who are invariably doing God's work.

He plans at some point in time to write about his divorce.

He should spare us all. If he plans to attempt to justify his actions, he should forget it, and repent of his sin, quietly, privately, before God and the people he wronged. It’s too late for him to return to the wife of his youth since he added adultery to an unbiblical divorce. The evangelical church has been littered with these sorts of characters. Terry made it worse by later defecting to Rome.

But I guess he’s a useful stooge for the pro-lifers who can’t see beyond the abortion issue.

Why would you think he hasn’t asked forgiveness for his sins? Before you become a Catholic, that is necessary. And he’s not looking to justify anything, just explain.

Then he needs to support Palin. No need for his grandstanding. And graphic ads on TV where any small child could see is too much.

There was a time in this country when we worshipped the Lord, we were absolutely against abortion,,, yet, we still had sense enough to know that not everything needs to be broadcast on regular TV.

That's why the devil loves abortion. Those that are post-abortive and don't receive healing are a mess and live in shameful silence, ads and placards and trucks covered with dead babies aren't shown because of the sensitivity of young ones, like you mentioned. So do you wake up the public by having a showing of what abortion does, like in a movie house, and expect people to pay to see it?

No one would come, of course, and that's just the way Satan likes it. Unfortunately, until people realize we have a 9-11 situation in our country every single day, nothing much will happen to improve the chances for the unborn.

Pray the Rosary to end abortion.

That in your face argument is exactly what the left uses for every obscenity they put on TV and in music. The TV of my generation would have never allowed the grapic commercials you push for.

Decency in public is something this nation desperately needs to return to. We do not need to act like them.

I’m an old-timer myself (or am rapidly getting there anyway). But I’m also very pro-life. And until people see what they are doing to their children (not to mention their grandchildren), nothing is ever going to happen to change the plight of the unborn. Would you rather the killing of children remain silenced? Not seen and not heard? Would you have preferred 9-11, for instance, to be not aired in any way? Keep folks in the dark sort of thing.
