I think Obama detests orthodox Christianity and identifies culturally and emotionally with Islam and especially with Black Liberation Theology. However, as a full on, sociopathic pathological malignant narcissist, he is incapable of being a faithful, practicing Muslim [or a Christian in good standing, for that matter]. He simply cannot submit to a supreme authority/Lord and Master.
Meaning, Obama’s type of narcissist insists on doing what he wants to do when he wants to do it. There are a lot of things Obama enjoys that Islam forbids: alcohol, for example. If an Imam came along and told Obama to stop drinking O would tell him to go to hell. That is just the nature of Obama’s type of narcissist.
