No Japanese have thought to erect a Shinto shrine very near to Pearl Harbor.
There is certainly some ambiguity whether this mosque very near to ground zero is a religious center or a victory monument. And it seems that it will be erected long before the long-delayed freedom-tower is ever done.

Japanese use the Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington Virginia as a place to pray for the souls of the dead lost in WWII.
I lived overlooking that site for about 7 years. Every night there'd be Japanese out there flashing strobe lights all over the place, and praying, and sometimes leaving flowers.
It's highly complex, but I don't think it's occurred to them, nor would it, to build a Shinto shrine near Pearl Harbor.

Confusing. Does Romney own the building or not?
____________________________________________________
The building is owned by Bain Capital. Romney used to be a partner of Bain Capital. He isn't now, I think he sold out several years ago.

The Cordoba House recalls Cordoba, Spain, as the capital of the Caliphate of Cordoba during the period of Muslim rule of Spain when the nation prospered and inter-faith diplomacy with Christian kings flourished. The name is a symbol of religious pluralism, not the subjugation of one faith by another.
Who knew? Islamic rule is paradise!

Muslim students with radical agendas are infiltrating our colleges and propagating the most deceptive arguments in defense of their religion and their politics. Our elitist on campuses either don’t understand, don’t care, or are happy with any ideology that attacks Western civilization. Islam is the new thing that replaces communism for these elite and empty headed geniuses.

Thank you guys for clearing that up. When it comes to the war on terror, Romney is part of the solution.

Probably had a notation in it to allow all foreigners free public university education, also.

Maybe Palin too?
Where did you get that from?
There isn't even a suggestion of it in the article - it's all about Romney.
To: muawiyah
Romney would never do that - he’s looking for their vote, anyone’s vote. And not enough passion against the muslims, either.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
A hateful, dishonest rant — particularly dishonest in his spin on Cordoba, Spain and its Muslim conquering, tearing down of the church and construction of a mosque atop that spot - a symbol of victory they’ve repeated throughout their history. I found it distasteful even to read.

It’s not that BHO lacks the cojones to protect this country; it’s that he lacks the desire.
