A Texas parish priest has written a column for the El Paso Times in which he strongly denounces homosexual activity.
“Every single Catholic, out of fidelity to charity and truth, has the absolute duty to oppose (1) the murder of unborn babies, and (2) any and all government attempts to legalize homosexual union,” wrote Father Michael Rodriguez in an August 2 column. “Any Catholic who supports homosexual acts is, by definition, committing a mortal sin, and placing himself/herself outside of communion with the Roman Catholic Church. Furthermore, a Catholic would be guilty of a most grievous sin of omission if he/she neglected to actively oppose the homosexual agenda, which thrives on deception and conceals its wicked horns under the guises of ‘equal rights,’ ‘tolerance,’ ‘who am I to judge?,’ etc.”
“I urge all of the Catholic faithful to treat homosexuals with love, understanding, and respect,” he added. “At the same time, never forget that genuine love demands that we seek, above all, the salvation of souls. Homosexual acts lead to the damnation of souls.”
“Abortion and homosexual acts are unequivocally intrinsic moral evils,” he concluded. “And friends, this objective truth doesn't depend on the opinion of the majority. Frighteningly, if the majority chooses to deny the objective moral order, then we will all suffer the pestiferous consequences.”

If homosexual’s do not believe the Bible is God’s word , they have nothing to worry about. Also they have no complaint, there has been a lot more dissing of the Church than any other institution in the media.
I am not Catholic but I agree 100%.

Long run, the Priest is right. Although short run, those acts will merely lead to nasty, incurable diseases which will help bankrupt ObamaCare faster.
The long run is pretty truncated for homosexual practitioners.
That has something to do with the nasty, incurable diseases.
Something, but not everything. Even when AIDS deaths are excluded, the life expectancy of homosexual men is about 20 years less than the aggregate male life expectancy. They have a much higher death rate from many causes. If one understands that a homosexual inclination is a mental illness, it makes sense to view their homosexual practice as one of a whole collection of dangerous, death-seeking behaviors.
If more churches stood up in this way there would be a revival of Christianity.
The left loves to punish people who say the truth in contradiction of established PC dogma. They are angry that they can’t (yet) send violators to reeducation camps.
Let’s see what the fallout is from this.

Sadly, a number of priests as well. Not those who, though afflicted with the mental illness of homosexuality, have kept their vows; but those who saw the all-male environment of the seminaries as an ideal hunting ground.
Do ask.
Do tell.
Do expel.
If a few (or more than a few) fags in roman collars get upset over this article, then we’ll know who the queers are. That’s a good thing; it would be even better if their bishops/superiors then have the guts to remove them from ministry.

I don’t think the Phelps people believe in God at all. They’re just attention-seeking psychos who’ve found a schtik that gets them on the news. If it wasn’t “God hates gays” it would be “Free Cat Stew.”
