All the churches in America are 501(c)3s. By having that status churches are prohibited from political speech.

False. They are prohibited from endorsing candidates or lobbying for or against specific legislation. There is no prohibition against “political speech”.

The church can always speak to issues such as life/abortion for example.

It’s when a candidate is endorsed that a church can lose their tax-free status.
