Why did God require the Israelites to perform Ritual Sacrifice?

Was It just a test to see If they would be Obediant, as In the case of Abraham and Isaac?

Why is Christ referred to as “The Lamb of God”?

Did Christ not come to Fulfill the Law?

So you purport that Christ’s Sacrifice was Not necessary to fulfill the Law?

Christ was Baptised by John as it was necessary to fulfill the Law, Even though Christ was without Sin.

The Basic Issue is, Are we Saved by Faith or Grace or Sacraments?

And Is any one of these Mutually exclusive of the Other Two in the Path to Salvation?

I Don’t agree with the Premise of ELCA Teachings.

Discuss.

When you see “ELCA” in the title, you can skip reading. You know its crap.

Brings to mind the story Father Groeschel of EWTN has told several times - he once attended an early morning sunrise Easter service with a Jewish friend who wanted to experience this particular religious opportunity - the service was conducted by a “progressive” priest with some radical ideas who announced that in fact Jesus had not actually died on the cross to redeem mankind - “so what did I have to get out of bed so early this morning for?” mumbled the Jewish man.....

Dr. Lull is aptly named. He is simply spewing shallow leftist tripe that holds out no hope beyond something a little better in this life ... maybe. I read what he writes and try to imagine Christian martyrs by the thousands surrendering their lives for what he claims as the meaning of Jesus’ life and death ... and I can’t decide whether to laugh or to puke.

Sounds like Dr. Lull read some of Bishop Spong’s books.

just another example of the “great falling away” before Christ returns.

A friend of mine was in an ELCA seminary for a semester. He left because they are no longer a Christian church by any stretch of the imagination.

He almost lost his faith because of the poofter synod.

Out of the mouths of lettered heretics: "Jesus did not have to die as a condition of God’s forgiveness of sins. Mark knew that Jesus knew that God had always forgiven the sins of “many/all,” and that God would keep on forgiving their sins." (page 9)

Atheistic, leftist moles in all Christian denominations care little what the ole folks in congregations think. Minds are made up by then.

All they have to do is infiltrate and control the seminaries and indoctrinate the young skulls full of mush......then wait it out a generation or two.

Patient evil and evil patience.
