Mormonism is polytheistic - Christianity is monotheistic
Mormon Jesus is a created being ontologically equal to satan as well as you and I - Christianity Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity, eternal God, not created
And these are just two of the key doctrinal differences. It is NOT defamation to draw the line in the sand.

Do a little research on your own. You’ll find much of what you hear from anti-Mormons is based on half-truths and/or misrepresentations. Occasionally outright falsehoods. You want the truth right?

It’s true. Mormons not only believe THEY are Christians, they believe Christians ARE NOT Christians.
They think Jesus and his disciples taught exactly what they believe.
It’s the Cristians who lost and mistranslated the bible to make it read what it does now.
But luckily Joseph Smith came to the rescue and “restored” the gospel to what it “should” be.

Prove it, you made an assumption, now prove it.
I left because I found out my own (LDS) church was LYING to me and whitewashing their history.
The fog of confusion was lifted when GOD pulled me out of the LDS church and opened my eyes.
I am not aware of any religion, anywhere, that forbids something like that, save Mormons.
In the premortal existence, Heavenly Father prepared a plan to enable us to become like Him and receive a fulness of joy. The plan of salvation is the fulness of the gospel.
It includes the Creation, the Fall, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and all the laws, ordinances, and doctrines of the gospel. Moral agency, the ability to choose and act for ourselves, is also essential in Heavenly Father's plan. Because of this plan, we can be perfected through the Atonement, receive a fulness of joy, and live forever in the presence of God. Our family relationships can last throughout the eternities.
Note: No mention of the Crucifixion.
Let us deal with the facts. Mormonism is a cult if you determine a cult by traditional Christian beliefs, such as you find the the ancient creeds. That is a fact. There is an objective criteria for determining what is Christian and what is not. I used to believe that Mormons and I had much in common politically, but Harry Reid destroyed that view.
