Pope Benedict XVI understands it all too well. He corresponded with the US Bishops about it, even before he was Pope. They simply ignored him.

Many STILL won't admit that the biggest problem was with homosexual priests and pre-teen, or teenaged boys. That would be too politically incorrect, you understand. The younger Bishops are trying to change things, and they are making progress. Control of many of the Seminaries have been wrested from the liberal priests, feminist nuns, and psychiatrists, who have tried to keep faithful Catholic men out of the Seminaries they controlled since the 70s.
