What do YOU say? Are they Ten Commandments? Or just suggestions for some?

Jesus fulfilled our punishment for violating the Ten Commandments...

They are not suggestions at all. This is what the law does, the law shows us how sinful we are and we fall short of God's glory. It's impossible for us to not break these laws, but, that doesn't mean we don't try. Resist the devil and he will flee. The law also points to Jesus Christ, the only perfect man, the only one able to save us from our fallen condition, through grace. We are saved by grace, not by works. And without works, faith is dead.

As a side note: sin starts in the mind as thought. If you practice ruling over your thoughts instead of letting them rule over you. You are in essence resisting the devil and he will flee.
