Yes, a major distinctive between Calvin and most Protestants vis a vis Lutherans is the view of the sacraments.

What I have long wanted to find, and which some FReeper on this thread may help me with, is Calvin’s view on how the 4th commandment (Sabbath) is to be kept today.

I have been told my personal view coincides with Calvin’s, but even though I looked it up in his works, I can’t find his view.

Go to the Institutes, book II, Chapter VIII , section 29. Calvin devotes a six page exposition of the post resurrection significance of the sabbath.
