It’s the Marian thing that kind of rubs me the wrong way. Of course, I say that as a parent who sends three kids to Catholic school. As a Protestant, Catholic schools offer me a less-offensive education option to the public schools. I always say we worship the same God. At least when no one’s praying to Mary.

Take some time out of your busy life and have someone knowledgeable explain this “Marian thing” to you. The Catholic Church would wither and die without this “Marian thing”, literally. It’s what attracted me to the Church.

But then again, I have always been a sucker for that beautiful Woman.

Jesus revered his mother; we should do no less. The thing about true devotion to Mary is that she ALWAYS points the way to Jesus, so we don’t ‘worship’ Mary, we worship her Son.
