Not to rain on anyone’s parade but.. This is the reality of the Scott Brown win. It may slow things down but it is too late.

So, I guess we’re all supposed to give up and go to some field somewhere and wait to be taken out of this world?

Seriously, it’s a cop out. We need to keep fighting the good fight as long as we’re here. God doesn’t look with favor on the perpetually pessimistic.

"What we are witnessing in the Scott Brown victory are the last struggling convulsions of a great nation on the precipice of total collapse"

We're going to ram it down their throats whether they like it or not!

In 1789, in Hartford, Connecticut, the skies at noon turned one day from blue to gray and by midafternoon the city had darkened over so densely that in that religious age men fell on their knees and begged a final blessing before the end came.

The Connecticut House of Representatives was in session, and many of the members clamored for an immediate adjournment.

The Speaker of the House, one Colonel Davenport, came to his feet and he silenced the din with these words: "The Day of Judgment is either approaching or it is not. If it is not, there is no cause for adjournment. If it is, I choose to be found doing my duty. I wish, therefore, that candles may be brought."

I believe this world will end, so let us have faith in God concerning the new world.

And until then what can we do, except what we think is right?

Anyone cheering Brown's election, need to slow down and take a very deep breath.

Yes, Brown is a populist-type but he's still from "Taxachusetts" and heard him give high praises to MA Healthcare plan (ala Romney, another moderate-lite).

He also praised himself for "reaching across the aisle to work with the other party" ala George W. Bush!

Many of us here were very frustrated upon finding that though he has "conservative issues on life and anti-terrorism," was NO conservative on protecting our borders, refusing to sign campaign finance "reform," and on and on, so pleeeeeease, don't let's ascribe our conservative Reaganesque ideals to Brown as many people attached their own hopes to "Obama, The Messi-uh!"
